A humorous critique of lawn culture set in a suburb of Louisville, Kentucky, the filmmaker’s childhood home, where letting your grass grow longer than 4 inches is treated as a crime. The film features characters invested in “perfect lawn” aesthetics - a nosy neighbor, the head of the Home Owner’s Association, and, however reluctantly, the filmmaker’s own mother.
